Works on SharePoint Online. I created
a list of licenses and the need
to connect the list to Outlook.
The "Connect to Outlook" is not available
for lists. I created a new list
but I can not add it to
Outlook. For Tasks or
Calendar, this feature is available.
I turned off the minimum collection
strategy, changed IE security settings
- allowed sites to a minimum in case of
internet - turned off the protect mode.
Checking on different sites SP, for
various organizations - the effect is the same.
No possibility of attaching the list
under Outlook. Using Edge
/ IE 11 and Office 2016 -
also I tested for Office 2013.
The "Connect to Outlook" is unavailable

Hi,
As I understand, the "Connect to Outlook" button is unavailable for custom lists in SharePoint online.
It is by designer. In SharePoint online, the "Connect to Outlook" button is unavailable for custom lists. But it is available for tasks and calendar.
